Additionally, there is the O3 air unit that operates with the DJI Controller 2, but if you’re just getting started, it might not be worth investing heavily in a new system when you’re still honing your skills. This guide shows you exactly how to begin flying FPV in 2022! It focuses on digital FPV and mentions that flying DJI FPV is very straightforward, but hopefully, it helps clarify a lot when venturing into classic digital FPV.
I highly advise against starting with analog as it requires a greater learning curve due to the complexity and the less enjoyable experience through a static goggle feed. Also, I don’t recommend buying tiny drones unless you have extra cash since anything you purchase before committing to digital FPV would just add to the expenses. Hence, I suggest only investing in a digital setup once you are committed and enjoy flying the FPV simulator.
If you dedicate enough time to the simulator and avoid crashing your drone at 70km/hr, you can manage without needing soldering skills or extensive knowledge of drone construction for quite some time.
